With connect business we have created a vast variety of connectivity services and telematics products dedicated to the needs of our fleet and business customers.
Everywhere and at any time – drivers are able to use our native iOS app on their iPhone and enjoy a digital trip record, which protects their privacy and allows them to keep a continuous log of all their trips since the vehicle creates the log automatically.

The connect business app is part of the connect business platform. The Dashboard of the app provides you with vehicle information which is provided by the connect business portal – e.g. license plate, vehicle type, fuel level, odometer and much more.
Your vehicle creates the Driver’s Log automatically. Using the connect business app, you can edit your own trip log by selecting the trip mode (private, commute or business trip) and add information, such as descriptions of individual trips, or business partners you have visited. In order to protect your privacy, there are no details transmitted to the fleet manager when you have selected private mode. Furthermore, the log can be exported from the app.
And there are even more functions to come.

Please note the following requirements for usage of connect business:
* Mercedes-Benz vehicles have to be equipped with a compatible communication module such as the HERMES or KOM3 or RAMSES module (one of the codes 360, 362, 382, 384 or 06U) in order to support connect business services.
* The company needs to sign and confirm the framework agreement including the data processing attachment.
* The fleet manager needs to register for the connect business portal and assign the corresponding vehicles. Services must be ordered, contracts as well as terms and conditions need to be accepted.
* Drivers need to be invited to connect business by their fleet manager and complete their registration.When the driver already has an active Mercedes-me ID, he/she can use the same login for connect business.
Continuous use of the GPS function in the background may reduce your battery running time.
